OLMC Enrolments

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Hilton.

An Application for Enrolment must be completed, in full, for every child wishing to enrol. An Application for Enrolment will only be considered if the following documents are included:

  • Birth Certificate – All Enrolments.
  • Australian Immunisation History Statement – All Enrolments.
  • Baptismal Certificate – if you have listed a religion within the Application for Enrolment, then a certificate must be provided.
  • Sacramental Certificates – such as Reconciliation or Holy Communion – if applicable.
  • Last School Report – for all children from Pre-Primary to Year Six.
  • Passport and Visa of child (if your child was born overseas).
  • Passport and Visa of parent (if at least one parent is not born in Australia).
  • Any relevant reports issued by medical professionals or courts.

Once an Application for Enrolment and necessary paperwork have been received, they will be reviewed by the school. Each application is considered individually, taking into account the Catholic Education Western Australia Limited Enrolment Executive Directive. Enrolment does not automatically follow as a result of an application. There are limits to class sizes and children may have to be placed on waiting lists. Before an Offer of Enrolment can be made, you will be invited to an interview with the Principal. During the interview with the Principal, you will be asked about your child, and various aspects of the school will be discussed. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
